How long does it take to fit a dental crown?
When you receive a dental crown, it usually requires at least two visits. During your first appointment, our dentist will remove the decay, shape your tooth, and provide you with a temporary crown. At your second appointment, we will adjust and fit your crown before permanently cementing it into place.
What are the capabilities of crowns?
Dental crowns and bridges are a reliable solution to treat dental concerns caused by wear and tear, diseases, and accidents. Our dental crowns are comprised of either porcelain bonded to gold or high-grade porcelain. When there is excessive damage, we will use crowns made of higher strength porcelain.
Many people can experience pain from replacing old fillings, usually caused by cracks in their teeth. Dental crowns can alleviate the pain and restore your tooth’s functionality. They can also give additional strength to your teeth after a root canal. Your dentist will recommend porcelain crowns when veneers cannot treat your dental concerns.
