Alberta seniors may have dental health coverage under any one of the following programs:
- Alberta seniors may have coverage through the Dental Assistance for Seniors Program (DASP) program
- Low-income Albertans may have coverage through one of the Government’s low-income programs (LIP) often referred to as Alberta works
- Seniors may opt to have dental coverage through Alberta Blue Cross. Their plans complement your government-sponsored benefits with coverage that helps. Their Blue Assured plans provide three levels of dental plans
- Your retirement benefits from your previous employer/s may include dental health care coverage
- Alberta seniors who can afford it may enroll in private individual or group plans
